What is the quality disparity between cold-pressed pickleball paddles and hot-pressed ones?

Cold-pressed pickleball paddles are fabricated by laminating boards first.  Subsequently, a honeycomb sandwich board is formed through CNC cutting. After that, rubber strips are used for edging to complete the paddle. This production process does not involve heating for molding, nor is there a need to reinforce the sides of the paddle. Although the manufacturing process of such paddles is relatively straightforward, their strength is relatively low. There is a risk of the handle breaking during use.

On the other hand, hot-pressed pickleball paddles require the use of molds and heating during the molding process. Additionally, the sides of the paddle are reinforced with specific materials. This makes the production process more complex;  however, it significantly enhances the overall strength of the paddle. The pressure-breaking data of hot-pressed pickleball paddles is more than three times that of cold-pressed ones. Moreover, the area around the ball on hot-pressed paddles is reinforced, resulting in a larger sweet spot. Consequently, both the overall strength and the quality of the sweet spot of hot-pressed pickleball paddles are superior.
